We are delighted to announce that the first official UK review, carried out by the editor for Hi-Fi+ magazine, was nothing short of stunning!
“Very highly recommended.”
The Aquarius replaces the GII Mini Sub, a highly acclaimed product that helped to establish the IsoTek brand way back in 2004, so the pressure was on to produce something truly special. The first-ever review of Aquarius, published in the current Awards edition of highly respected British audio journal Hi-Fi+, confirms that our hard work has paid off. The Editor, Alan Sircom, reviewed the unit himself, and chose not only to compare Aquarius to the same system using dirty mains, but also to make a direct comparison to the GII Mini Sub. He was astonished by what he heard.
“What we have is a sound that is fuller, seemingly louder and more dynamic, rising out of a quieter background,” wrote Alan. “All the things the Mini Sub did to music a few years ago... but more so.”
In memorable fashion, he continued: “Going back to the original is like going back to hamburger when you’ve dined on steak. Going back to the original mains is like eating the box the burger came in.” And his conclusion? “Very highly recommended.”

Aquarius replaces the GII Minisub, a product which we first brought to market in 2003, and updated to GII status in 2004. GII Minisub went on to win over 7 international audio awards and became a bench mark product to which other brands were compared. It goes without saying that Minisub was and is a great product, however Aquarius is a huge leap forwards in terms of performance and design. It truly demonstrates how serious our new EVO3 (evolution three) range of products will be. As IsoTek has done in the past we will do again in the future, and that is, redefine what one can expect from a high quality mains power conditioner.
It isn’t just the striking visual statement of Aquarius that signifies a new and exciting product. IsoTek’s electrical engineering team have created a true statement product at very attractive price point.
